The Flight
Our class had a mix of travel experiences ranging from one or two trips within the U.S. to international vacations. We were all excited to go to Italy, however we were less than enthused about the near-eight hour flight ahead of us. Surprisingly, it was quicker than that and didn't even seem that long! Many of us passed the time watching movies or listening to music- complementary of American Airlines, reading, eating the unexpectedly tasty airplane food, or (trying to) get some sleep.
Kendal and Hannah weren't too gung-ho about the idea of being suspended in the air. "So many thoughts raced through my brain and made me terribly anxious, which resulted in no sleep throughout the entire flight," said Hannah.
Jeanine figured that since we were going to Italy, she might as well watch one of the widely regarded films of all time: The Godfather. "Although it was very long and very dramatic, I enjoyed every minute and will continue to watch the remaining movies of The Godfather saga," she said.
